In CT Cover Creations, I usually focus on designing book covers but that doesn't mean I'm only limited to designing that one thing. Besides book cover, I also design a lot of other stuff. As long as it involves designing, I'll gladly do it if it's something my skills are capable of doing. I don't accept a project and give my word if it's something I'm not 100% sure I could do.
Since most of my clients are from the book world, my work revolve around designing things for authors. From book cover to their promotion graphics and even the swag that they give out during signing events. However, since they're mostly based in the US and UK, they only let me design it. They are the ones who take care of the printing. I don't mind doing the printing myself but that would cost them way way more compared to using a local printer.
With that in mind, I've been thinking of sharing the swag that I designed - and got printed - from time to time. I would like to put it out there that these are gifts. I didn't make any profit in making these. These are only a small gift from an artist to her client or you could say from one friend to another. After all, I do consider them as some of the great friends I met in the book world.
I may not be an author myself but as a cover artist, I do believe I deserve to have my very own bookmark too! So of course, I designed myself one and I'm not boasting but I really do love how it turned out! I've always loved the galaxy so I knew it was something that I had to use and it turned out so well. I also have to thank the printing shop that I use, which by the way, I won't be changing unless they close down. The quality of their printing had always been the best for me. Below are two photos of how the bookmarks turned out
What do you guys think? Aren't they gorgeous? Some of you might be wondering why did I design myself a bookmark. Actually, I include it whenever I send something whether it's an author or a reader. There are also times that I do giveaways and it's one of the things of my own that I include. Most of them are readers so I think making a bookmark would be the best. If they're a reader, I can't exactly give them a business card, right? If it was an author then that could work.
If you're interested in getting your swag designed by me, just email me at ctcovercreations(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll get to them as soon as I can. If you want to get it both designed and printed that works too! Just remember, I'm from the Philippines so it would probably cost you way more if you want me to print it. Unless, you're from the Philippines too then that won't be a big problem. Also, I do design invitations so really, I pretty much design anything. If you're unsure whether I'm designing what you need, just ask me on the email above.
